Points: 0, 15, 30, 40, game. At 40-40 (deuce), you need two consecutive points - advantage, then game. First to 6 games wins the set with a 2-game lead. At 6-6, a 7-point tie-break decides.

How does tennis scoring work?
Points go 0 (love), 15, 30, 40, game. At 40-40 (deuce), one player must win two consecutive points - advantage, then game. First to 6 games wins the set (with a 2-game lead). At 6-6 a tie-break decides.
What is a tie-break in tennis?
A tie-break is played at 6-6 in most sets. First player to 7 points wins (must win by 2). Points are scored 1, 2, 3... not 15, 30, 40.
